Cramlington Folk Club was established in 1972 and is one of the longest-running folk clubs in the country. We meet every Wednesday evening at 8 pm at the Benedictine Social Centre in Cramlington, bringing together lovers of traditional and contemporary folk, blues and bluegrass music. Guest performers appear every other week, with singers nights in between — a welcoming space for performers and audiences alike.
Professional and touring guest performers take the stage every other Wednesday, showcasing the very best in live folk and acoustic music.
On alternate Wednesdays, the floor is open to singers and musicians from the audience — a warm, informal session for all abilities.
From traditional and contemporary folk to blues and bluegrass, we celebrate a wide variety of acoustic music styles throughout the year.
